 A rich collection of more than 850000 e-books and 85,000 books are housed in the university's 13 libraries - one central library and twelve libraries in different academic blocks. Almost all libraries have access to e-journals and databases like ASME, IEEE, EMERELD, EBSCO, ASCE, ASTM, McGraw Hill, J-Gate, Elsevier, SCC ONLINE, andWestlaw International. The University is a member of DELNET and British Council Library

In addition to the separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities, there are attached mess facilities at the campus of the Chandigarh University. Fresh and hygienic food is served in the hostel mess. Internet access, a music room, and a common room with TV and cable, a salon, indoor games, and a reading room with a collection of national and international newspapers and magazines are all available.
